Why build a Diverse Participants Pool Panel?

Increasingly segmented and sharper research strategies require reliable sources of participants from diverse populations, constantly renewed - and treated with due care and respect.

The newest iteration of our proprietary Research Participants Panel spotlights underserved diverse minorities to facilitate access to hard-to-reach populations, increase research data diversity, and ensure ethical research practices.

Brazil has a complex population structure with several relevant diverse groups from which we chose the following to segment in our Panel:

  1. LGBTQIA+ community, which is amazingly vibrant but little studied.

  2. Neurodivergents often face challenges related to accessibility and inclusion.

  3. Indigenous peoples, each with their own cultures and challenges related to cultural preservation and lack of opportunities.

By segmenting and densifying the representation of these groups, our Panel can provide expanded perspectives and more in-depth insights, which are unprecedented in our market.

We expect to help our clients tackle some of the most complex challenges while deploying in-depth studies in Latam markets:

  1. Multifarious perspectives: The Panel's design to include individuals from diverse groups can provide perspectives and insights that could be overlooked in conventional samples.

  2. Better representation: These groups are often underrepresented in research studies, thus limiting the generalizability of findings. With our Panel’s new resources, researchers can ensure more representativeness and inclusiveness in their studies.

  3. Access and trust issues: Individuals from these populations may have limited access to research opportunities - or be distrustful of research practices - due to historical and systemic biases and mistreatment.

  4. Recruitment challenges: Recruiting from diverse segments requires more effort and resources to reach individuals not connected to traditional research networks.

  5. Greater sensitivity to cultural differences and linguistic barriers: Minority populations may have different cultural norms, languages, and preferences to consider when designing recruitment strategies and study materials.

These segments need and are entitled to rigorous care with their data protection rights. By strictly following the Brazilian LGPD, we believe we are contributing to the propagation of this mindset.

How does this resonate with your plans, expectations, and concerns? We would love to hear your comments and thoughts!
